Monte Jade West's chairman, Tze Yeoh, was delighted to host the Taiwan Team participating in the Select USA Investment Summit on May 9, 2023. The event featured a lively mini shark tank pitch session, where the 13 teams had the opportunity to present their ideas. Following the pitch session, successful matches were made between the teams and Monte Jade West's venture capitalists.
The Select USA Investment Summit, held annually in Washington D.C., Maryland, is a prestigious event that attracts global startups, investors, and large corporations. This year, the summit witnessed a record-breaking attendance of 4,900 participants, showcasing its popularity. Among the numerous teams selected in the top 10 of the five major sectors, Taiwan stood out with 14 startups out of the 50 making the cut, accounting for an impressive 30% of the global selection. This recognition affirms the capabilities of Taiwan's startup teams on an international level.
