Monte Jade is one of the most well-established and respected professional organizations in the bay area and the world. It has been relentless in its pursuit of business and information exchange between both sides of the Pacific Rim, providing a platform for entrepreneurs, executives, venture capitalists, and other professionals to network and exchange ideas with one another.

There are four types of memberships: Corporate, Associate, Individual, and Honorary. Corporate membership is offered to high-tech and high-tech related business. Associate membership is for the non high-tech businesses. Those who identify with the association』s objective and are willing to participate in Monte Jade』s functions can apply for individual membership. Honorary membership is to recognize extraordinary contribution to the objective of Monte Jade. Corporate and Associate members must be represented by an individual of managerial level
(A) Annual
Conference - generally in the form of a presentation/seminar on a specific
theme by distinguished guest speakers. This meeting also includes the swearing
in of the newly elected board chairman and its new members.
(B) Bi-Monthly
Dinner Meeting - to encourage and promote networking among members with
presentations by guest speakers.
(C) “Chancellor Tien Forum” – prominent leaders sharing their life
experience every other month.
(D) Annual Young
Professionals Asian Study Tour.??
(E) Annual
Investment Conference or Entrepreneur Workshop Series.
(F) Special-topic seminars, some of which
are in cooperation with other professional organizations.
Monte Jade is a truly global organization, with ten chapters throughout the US and four chapters outside the US: West Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
The Monte Jade Asian American chapter focuses on the needs of young professionals, such as networking, career development, and business opportunities in Asia. While it focuses on professional events, it occasionally organizes social events as well to allow members to interact on a more casual setting.
As MJAA members, you automatically obtain Monte Jade West membership, enjoying all it benefits in addition to the MJAA membership benefits.
